Mark Henry is a retirement planning specialist with more than three decades of experience. As the founder and CEO of the independent advisory firm Alloy Wealth, he leverages this experience and his industry knowledge to help clients craft comprehensive retirement plans. Mark Henry aims to allow Alloy Wealth clients to "Live Large," a philosophy he defines as spending without fear of running out. This requires careful consideration of client goals along with taxation, inflation, and market risk.
Mark Henry founded Alloy Wealth in 2011 and has since grown it into a multi-advisor office that offers a range of financial management services, including investment management, tax planning, and estate planning. He is a proponent of proper asset planning and a firm believer that an effective wealth management strategy helps protect against unexpected market occurrences. He was inspired to pursue a career in retirement planning after watching his parents lose half of their savings on Black Monday in October 1987.
Beyond helping individuals and families at Alloy Wealth, Mark Henry is an acclaimed retirement planning speaker and coach. He has delivered presentations at many of the top finance industry seminars, coached advisors and managers, and has appeared on national TV programs, radio stations, and podcasts to educate the public on how their portfolios will be affected by new economic policies or changing tax laws.
He also provides advice on a range of financial topics via his YouTube channel and as the host of Living Large Radio, which airs every weekend in North Carolina and South Carolina on WBT 1100AM/99.3 FM, WORD 106.3 FM, WCRU960AM/105.7 FM, and WGTK 94.5 FM. Complementing his extensive retirement planning experience, he is a Certified Estate Planner (CEP).
